Short-Term Mission Insurance
Overseas Travelers Protection Policy (OTPP) – NAB’s Preferred Short-Term Mission Insurance.
http://www.otpplan.com/

The Overseas Travelers Protection Plan (OTPP) is designed to provide individuals or groups with short-term travel insurance.  This will supplement existing insurance when traveling within the United States and overseas.  Gateway Teams are required to have insurance when traveling internationally and we highly recommend the Overseas Traveler Protection Plan (OTPP) policy. This plan includes medical coverage, accidental death & dismemberment, medical evacuation & repatriation of remains, and traveler’s assistance.

Passports / Visas
Pick up passport applications from your local post office.  Passports will be needed in virtually every country, with the possible exceptions of Mexico, USA and Canada.  When crossing international boundaries, it is always preferable to have passports.  They can take months to acquire, so be sure to start the process early. Be aware that passports should be valid for at least 6 months after your return date.  Some countries will not allow you to travel within their borders if your passport does not meet this requirement.

The requirements vary from country to country regarding visas. Find out the situation in the country of your destination by logging on to or calling the following:
