NAB UPDATE

Twice a month, the North American Baptist Conference sends an update with what is happening in the conference—in our churches, in the international office, in North America, or around the globe. This week we want to highlight what is happening in Cameroon as Dan Hamil (interim executive director) and Norm Poehlke (vice president of Ministry Outreach) just got back from an amazing trip visiting our NAB missionaries, teaching hospitals, Cameroon Baptist Convention members, and Cameroon Baptist Theological Seminary.

LEADERSHIP NEWSLETTER MARCH 2015

Doing the Right Thing

I recently sat with a group of leaders helping a partner ministry develop a five year strategic vision that would see the organization through their next steps in directional expansion and even leadership succession. The day-long conversation around the table was robust, facilitated by an experienced consultant, skilled at bringing out the best in organizations walking through these critical transitions.

As a leader who is interested both in organizational development and the processes of consultation, I kept a curious watch on how the consultant drew out the group toward meaningful steps in organizational development.
