DR. JAYME LYNN MCKERCHER, DPT

Jayme has been appointed by the North American Baptist Conference to serve in Cameroon, West Africa at Mbingo Baptist Hospital (MBH) for two years.

Jayme is a licensed Physical Therapist.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science from University of Sioux Falls, SD and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Creighton University, Omaha, NE.

Gordon and Denise serve as hostel parents at the CMF (Cameroon Missionary Fellowship) Hostel located in Yaounde. Gordon also be serves as a project manager of large service projects in Cameroon. They arrived in Cameroon on April 8, 2011.

Missionary Teacher in Cameroon

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men." Colossians 3:23 (NIV)

Raised in a Christian home, Julie accepted Jesus as her personal Savior at age ten.  She says, "It was not until college that I acknowledged Jesus' authority to be my Lord as well as my Savior.  I now take great delight in the fact that I am not my own.  The Lord has been truly gentle and merciful in His dealings with this sheep.  Hence, my greatest desire is to follow the Shepherd wherever He leads."

Seminary Instructor

Through a series of faith-building events and blessings, God led the Rundus family to Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree, Lance enrolled in North American Baptist Seminary (now Sioux Falls Seminary).  Lance has skills and interests in various arts, linguistics, philosophy, rhetoric, and theology.  Lance has been involved in ministry through leading worship team, serving as Youth Pastor, and serving as instructor in Biblical languages, exegesis, and hermeneutics at Sioux Falls Seminary.

Debi grew up in a Christian home where family prayer and Bible reading were the daily norm.  In second grade, Debi saw a film depicting the Rapture.  It was then that she realized that she was not a Christian just because her family was.  Her dad helped Debi pray the sinner's prayer and she trusted Christ as Savior.

Dennis says, "Our call to missionary service has been a gradual process rather than a bolt-of-lightning experience.  It has been the result of many of our personal interests coming together under the guidance of the Holy Spirit."

Teacher

Elsie has always been an active worker for the Lord.  In high school, she served as the Youth for Christ representative on the city council.  While at college, she taught a junior high Sunday school class and has served as Sunday school superintendent, missions representative on the Mission Conference Committee, secretary for the Christian education board, teacher in Vacation Bible School, junior church leader, camp counselor, and coordinator.

Pat Lenz arrived back in USA on August 31, 2010.  She is on home assignment.

Financial Administration

Walter has been a Sunday school teacher, a youth group executive for two years, an usher, and has served on the finance and missions committee.  He has also served as a deacon.  He has been involved with Student Mission Advance, an interdenominational organization whose aim is to get students invovled with missions.
